Jump start your public safety career by enrolling in the Regional Telecommunicator Academy!
The Regional Telecommunicator Academy provides required training and certification for new 9-1-1 telecommunicators. It is a multi-week academy providing a level of excellence across the region. New 9-1-1 telecommunicators will learn necessary skills that will allow them to leap forward in their career.
RTA Class #016 begins RTA Class #016 begins Monday, February 12th, 2024, to Friday, March 8th, 2023 – 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Orientation is Thursday, February 8th, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will be held in the NCT9-1-1 Training Rooms.
RTA#016 will be in-person classroom instruction, however if needed we will have the option for virtual course options if needed.
To support the safety and needs of students and staff in the classroom and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the following guidelines will be ensured:
- Establishing a sanitizing station and providing wipes/hand sanitizer throughout the classroom.
- All tables and chairs will be wiped down at least twice a day (beginning and end of class).

- TCOLE Rules and Regulations
- Crisis Communications
- Active Shooter
- And more!
